KEEPING IT TOGETHER!

 Keeping it Together

It has come to my attention that as we get older and seemingly busier, it is a task in itself to Keep it Together.

A few tips that I have found helpful are:

 1.   Keep a running To-do List in a Notebook.  Keep this where you have your morning coffee.

As you complete tasks, Highlight them instead of marking off.  This give a more positive feeling when you look at what you have accomplished.

If things don't get done, that's ok; move them to the next day.  I tend to add way more than I'll ever get done in a day.. but it keeps me focused.

2.  Keep a small notebook in your purse, or whatever your carry when you go.  I use this for errand days and groceries.  Nothing worse than getting home realizing you missed something on the other side of town, or an ingredient for dinner.

3.  Keep a calendar in the bathroom, or by where you keep your keys.

This one keeps track of special dates, bill due, etc.

By keeping these things in KEY places, they will help you keep things in order and you will find you get much more done.

You can do much of this on your phone.  I have found sending myself texts and setting reminders on my calendar do help some.  But, I still like paper and pen!  The visual is much more gratifying and motivating.  Give it a try.  Let me know if it helps or if you have anything to add!

Happy Labor day!
