Better Health
It's been a minute since I've posted. Sorry about that; things have been a bit hectic the past year or so.
Anyway, to the point!
My husband and I have had so many conversations with people over the years in regard to health issues and why we (56 & & 72) take ZERO prescription medications!
Being a Vet, my husband is required to go to the Dr. once a year. On the other hand, I stay away from them as much as possible. Every time either of us go to the Dr., they ask what meds we take. When we both tell them NONE and show them the Supplements that we take, their response is, "Well, that is why."
It seems we have compiled a good combination of supplements to maintain good health. Mind you, we are both quite active. Not doing sports and such, but by simply doing yard work and projects that improve our property and basically, just staying OUT OF THE RECLINERS and AWAY FROM THE BUFFET!
We also do not eat much fast food, nor do we eat battered, fried foods often. This is not to say we eat like "health nuts". We grew up in the era of Meat & 3! We like steaks, burgers (homemade, not fast food), bacon, all of the normal stuff. I will admit, we do eat quite a bit of fish and chicken.
To get back to the point... Supplements!
After my husband's heart attack, he no energy or strength to speak of. He went to a different cardiologist who asked what meds he was taking. After telling him, the cardiologist told him to stop all of them and to take "x" supplements daily. After taking these supplements and 0 meds, he was able to do the stress test without issue 2 weeks later!
Several years back, I was big into working out and eating "right" and learned quite a bit about different supplements from my trainer. Since then, I have educated myself quite a bit more on herbal solutions.

The vitamin, minerals and energy that your body takes in from the Earth itself has great benefits for the body! That's another blog... LOL
