$$ Saver for Yard decor

If you are anything like me, spring fever has hit hard by now! I'm so ready to get out in the yard, play in the dirt planting new plants and making the yard look pretty; but it's still a bit chilly for too much of that.

With spring coming soon, it is time to do some pruning and planning and a bit of refreshing.

I add several decorative items around the yard, metal art, concrete figures, etc.  As the years go by these things fade and I used to throw them out and buy new.  With the cost of everything going up who can afford that??

Instead of going out and spending way too much money to replace that yard ornament, go to Walmart and but a handful of $1 acrylic craft paints.

Brighten up those old, faded yard ornaments with a fresh coat of paint.  This works on metal, concrete, whatever.  Yes, it will fade; but who cares?  It's cheaper than buying new, gives you something fun to do and in a couple of years, when it fades, you can change the color completely.
