Day 2 Thanksgiving Dinner Cooking Marathon

Well kids, tomorrow is the big day.  Hope all is going well so far.

Today is the day for major prepping so tomorrow can be easy and you'll get to enjoy visiting with your guests.
Organization is the key to success.

I like to get all to be prepped out and have a pile for each item; checking my menu to be sure I have not forgotten anything.
Now the fun begins!

Peeling potatoes,  into the bowl of cold water and into the frig.  Deviled eggs (use a decorative frosting dispenser to fill eggs and dust with paprika; makes them pretty.)

If you are making candied sweet potatoes is quicker to peel and boil them now, then after cooling put in cassaroles dish with butter, brown sugar and a dash of nutmeg.  Tomorrow,  top with marshmallows and bake.

Prep your other items, green bean cassarole, scalloped corn, fruit salad, cheese tray, of course the dressing (stuffing- whichever you make) and whatever else you may have on your menu.  Season your turkey.... we cannot forget the main dish.
I like to go over the menu one last time to be sure I've not forgotten anything.

Now, put a lock and key on the frig to keep everyone out of things til tomorrow.   LOL

A few last minutes straightening up around the house and off for a good night's rest for the big day tomorrow.

In the morning all you have to do is put the turkey in the oven and a couple hours before dinner bake off cassaroles,  cook mashes potatoes, etc.

Cassaroles will hold their heat for a bit, so if you are playing with only 1 oven, bake them first, after turkey is done.

Hope my tips help.  Would love to get feedback.

Praying everyone has a great Thanksgiving.
