2 Quick, Not - So - Sweet Desserts. Can be Diabetic Friendly

It is always good to have a rounded variety of dishes for Thanksgiving, or any other gathering so there is something for everyone.

The fruit salad recipe is one I simplified that my mom used to make and it seems to always be a hit.

The 2nd is from a babysitter when I was young.  I have no clue how I always rembeted it; I guess it was just that good!

5 min. (Or less) prep time for each.

Fruit Salad

1 Lg can fruit cocktail (can substitute tropical mixed fruit)
1 can Mandarin Oranges
1 Tub Cool Whip

Sometimes I add some well drained cocktail cherries also.

Stir together and serve.

Pistachio Pudding Fluff

1 Pkg Pistachio Pudding
1 can drained crushed pineapple
1 tub Cool Whip

I get best results by adding pudding to pineapple,  then adding Cool Whip .

* This can be a diabetic friendly dessert by using sugar free ingredients.   The only sugar is the natural sugars of the pineapple.

Enjoy!!
