Folding a Fitted Sheet

While reading through some posts on Facebook today, the question arose, "Does anyone know how to fold a fitted sheet?"

After replying with the instructions, the blog idea popped back in my head as I know this is a task that seems impossible to many.  It is really not that hard.

Fold sheet in half
Tuck corners into corners
Fold in half again
Tuck corners into corners.
(Now all 4 corners are tucked neatly together)
Lay flat and fold down edges adjacent to tucked corners creating a fairly neat rectangle.
Fold in thirds
Fold in thirds again.
By folding in thirds, your edges will look clean and it should now be about the same size as your folded flat sheet.

*HINT    When folding your sheets, fold them inside out.  Then when you go to make the bed, start by standing at a corner of the bed, and literally unfold the sheet onto the bed.

If you have ever made a California King by yourself, you will greatly appreciate this lil' trick.

Happy Home Making!
